I've been eyeing this gadget for a while now. The audio quality it delivers is top-notch, it's super easy to set up, and it's really versatile. I'm especially fond of the upscaling feature. Before this, I had a Quad CD player that could upscale from 44.1kbps to double that, but the Lumin can upscale (or downscale if that's your thing) across a much broader range, plus it can convert 16 bit to 24 bit. I use it with Qobuz, which is fantastic for high-definition music files right off the bat. Since I already owned a good DAC, I didn't see the need to pay extra for digital to analogue converters in a streaming device. Overall, I'm thrilled with this product and the sound it produces. My local supplier, Analogue Seduction, handled my order swiftly and effectively.

I picked up the record cleaning machine from Analogue Studio since my Clearaudio model doesn’t handle 7" singles. The first time I used it was a bit clumsy, but you get the hang of it pretty quick, and it really does a solid job at cleaning the records. That said, there’s no straightforward way to empty it while trying to keep the solution, which is a bit of a hassle. A drain plug would’ve been a nice touch to simplify things, but I guess that’s just how these manual cleaners roll. I’ll figure it out in time.
